We do not support Internet Explorer 6. We took the descision early in the development of the new 'Timelines.tv' site to abandon support for IE 6, following the path set out by 'You Tube', 'Google' and many others. To support IE6, we would have had to spend considerably more time in development, producing a site which could be viewed in a old and buggy browser which was first released in 1991. We urge all our users to either upgrade, to use more modern browsers such as 'Firefox' or to lobby your organisation or educational establishment to abandon IE6 - if for no other reason, than that its security issues make it quite a liability.
If you do not have broadband and are using a dial-up connection you will experience difficulty viewing our site. All our videos stream to your computer first before playing. If your bandwidth is insufficient to cope, the video will automatically stop until enough has been streamed ahead of the playhead. There are times however when increased usage may slow down our servers. These occasions, however rare, are unavoidable. Please try again after a period of time has elapsed and contact us, if you think there might be a technical problem with the site.
This site is best viewed in 1024 x 768 resolution or above. You will be able to view the site on smaller displays, however you will have to continually scroll down and/or across to view the rest of the site.
Please don't download or share the video content on the site. It is all under copyright.
